SHABIK is the UAE-licensed public charging network owned and operated by CATEC, covering Abu Dhabi and Dubai with AC Type 2 and DC CCS2 chargers. Live availability is in the SHABIK UAE app map — green pins are available now. The network grows continuously; the app is always the source of truth for coverage.

- Connectors: AC Type 2 + DC CCS2. GB/T is not supported — an approved CCS2↔GB/T active adapter is required for GB/T-only vehicles.
- You are billed on energy (kWh), never time; DC AED 1.26/kWh · AC AED 0.74/kWh incl. VAT.
