A Partner Invite is the mechanism used by the SHABIK platform to provide a specific User with access to a Partner’s resources, such as the Partner’s Mobile Application, Partner’s Corporate Billing, Public and/or Private Charge Points operated by you (the CPO) or the Partner.
You must have a Super User Admin role in the SHABIK platform or you must be a Partner Admin with sufficient access level to the platform. For additional information, see Partner Admin Roles.
Check if the Auto accept partner invites setting is activated. You can access it from the System > Settings menu.
Check if the Users you plan to invite with a Partner Invite are already created on the platform as your own (the CPO’s) Users. You can do that by navigating to EV Drivers > Users.
If… | Then… |
|---|---|
Auto Accept Partner Invites is not activated and the User has not been registered in EV Drivers > Users | User receives email invitation. |
Auto Accept Partner Invites is activated and the User is already registered in EV Drivers > Users | User is automatically assigned to the Partner’s Account and does not receive a notification. |
It is recommended to always check this and notify your staff personally if you are assigning them accesses to your Partners' accounts.
Log in to the SHABIK platform with your Admin credentials.
Navigate to Partners > Partner Invites.
Click Create Invite.
Fill in the required information:
From the Partner drop-down list, select one or more Partners to associate the User with.
(Optional) From the User group drop-down list, select one or more User Groups to associate the User with.
Type the User’s email address.
Select the language for the invite email.
(Optional) To activate Corporate Billing for the User, select the Allow billing charging fees to the corporate account check box.
To allow the User to bill their charging fees to the Corporate Billing account of the Partner only when using Charge Points for which the Partner is set as the owner, select the Limit corporate billing to Partner's own charging stations check box.
To allow the User access to Commercial Private Charge Points, keep the Allow access to private charge points check box selected.
Click Create Invite.
The User is now added to your Partners Account. Depending on the Auto Accept Partner Invites setting, the User might receive invitation e-mails containing links to the Mobile Application App Stores.
