How to request account deletion — clear balances first, then contact support.

SH-105 — Delete your account / data request

Overview

Account deletion is handled by support, not self-service, and requires a clear balance.

User impact

Alert
Medium — irreversible; affects history/receipts.

Prerequisites

No pending charges or negative balance; identity confirmed (account email).

Step-by-step resolution

  1. Confirm the account has no pending balance (settle first — see SH-801 if a charge is disputed).
  2. Submit the request via in-app support or email support@shabik.net from the registered address.
  3. Agent logs a deletion request ticket and gives a reference number; confirm the data-handling timeline per SHABIK privacy policy.

Symptoms / What to check

Pending balance present → must be cleared before deletion proceeds.

Troubleshooting tips

Treat as a privacy request; do not delete without identity verification.

SLA-friendly resolution

Ticketed (P3); acknowledge live, process per policy.
